What are you reading Mondays?

This is a weekly Meme run by J. Kaye's Book Blog. Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week
This was an interesting week. I started off reading Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier which i loved so much i couldn't stop thinking about it - and so couldn't pick up another book after reading it for a while. This one is definitely up there among my fav books for this year.
I also read the just released Hunting Ground, which is the second book from Patricia Briggs' Alpha & Omega Series. Then I went back and read the first book Cry Wolf. This couple have some interesting chemistry, and it was fun to get more of 'em.
Also read a bit of On the Prowl, the anthology which has the story of how Anna & Charles met and is the prequel to the Alpha & Omega Series.

Blood & Chocolate - Annette Curtis Klause
Caressed by Ice - Nalini Singh
Dime Store Magic - Kelley Armstrong
Happy Reading and have a great week!!!
Favourite lines:
There is no good or evil, save in the way you see the world. There is no dark or light, save in your own vision. All changes in the blink of an eyelid; yet all remains the same - Conor to Sorcha in Daughter of the Forest
Dime Store Magic - Kelley Armstrong
Happy Reading and have a great week!!!

Thanks for the reminder, I have Caressed by Ice on my bookshelf waiting. Hope you enjoy Dime Store Magic, will be interested to see what you think compared to Bitten & Stolen.
Have a great reading week :-)
K, I can't wait to hear what you think of the second book in the Sevenwaters series, I so loved that book. I still remember so many details, Juliet's books just stay with you for such a long time.
Have a great reading week, you've certainly got some great books to read!
I love books that make you pause your reading so you can savour them for longer.
Happy reading! :)
I'm dying to read Caressed by Ice. I've heard it's the best of the series :-) Can't wait to read your review!
I really need to read a book by N. Singh. Do you recommend any book to begin with?
Daughter of The Forest sounds good!
Now you have me curious. I imagine Daughter of the Forest will be added to my TBR list. My books are here: http://rundpinne.blogspot.com/2009/08/what-are-you-reading-monday_31.html
I loved-loved "Blood & Chocolate" by Annette Curtis Klause. Some didn't, but I really fell in love with it. My version was audio...I also watched the movie. Both were great.
Funny, the more I read, the more I have yet to read. I haven't heard of the titles you listed. I like it when I find something new. Thanks!
Teddyree, Annie - I just finished Caressed by Ice today and it does live up to all the good hype.
I'm really hoping i like Dime Store Magic too. I loved the first 2 books, but i didn't like Paige in Stolen at all.
Alaine - just got the second book today. Planning to read it next week.
Maree, Sheila, Jennifer - I love authors who can write books that pull you in that way. You find books like these so rarely.
Mary - You could probably start with Slave to Sensation, the first Psy-Changeling book. The world building is great, and the books keep getting better
J Kaye, i heard mixed views about Blood & Chocolate too. There's a movie. I'm going to try and find. Thanks for letting me know.
Shon - i add a couple of books to my list every week with the meme. Know exactly what you mean
Thanks for stopping by everyone. Have a great week.
I will surely put Daughter of the Forest in my wishlist!
Thank you for posting about the Giveaway!

Have a great reading week! :D
K ~ The movie didn't exactly follow the book, which was criticized too. Personally, I liked the difference in the movie. Loved them both...lol!
Sounds like you had a great week! I haven't read any of those you did (though the Briggs books are among my TBR books), but (IMO)Caressed by Ice was great and (also IMO) Blood & Chocolate - while a little gloomy - was good too.
Veens, Ruth - thanks a lot.
J Kaye, i'll still watch the movie. Only after reading the book. Watching the movie before reading the book tends to ruin the pictures in the head.
Jo - hope you get to reading Briggs soon. She's great
