This is a weekly Meme run by J. Kaye's Book Blog. Post the books completed last week, the books you are currently reading, and the books you hope to finish this week

I spent the week finishing books that I've been reading bits and pieces of for a while now. Also was at home on Friday, so had a lotta time on my hands. These are short reads..some of them. So its a bigger haul this week

>>> To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
>>> Destined for an Early Grave - Jeaniene Frost (5/5) Loved it, Loved it, Loved it!!
>>> The Secret by Julie Garwood - absolutely lovely. review pending.
>>> The White Tiger - Aravind Adiga
>>> Triad by Lauren Dane (2/5) - Didn't like this as much as Dane's Chase Brother's series
>>> Understood by Maya Banks (3/5) nice romance
>>> Two Sighted Annmarie McKenna (3/5) also nice romance
>>> Under the covers - Eve Adams (3/5) erotic romance, good plot
>>> Triple Threat - Jennifer Labrecque (2/5) very very short story

This Week's Reading List:
Coyote's Mate - Lora Leigh - pg 100 - Heartbreaking. Not erotica. Good plot
Slave to Sensation - Nalini Singh
On Chesil Beach - Ian McEwan

Favourite line of the week: The one thing that doesn’t abide by majority rule is a person’s conscience - To Kill a Mockingbird

What an awesome week you had. I have Jeaniene Frost's first 3 books on my bookshelf but havent read any yet, must fix that!
So glad you loved The Secret, I read it a couple of weeks ago and adored it. You are in for a treat with Slave to Sensation, I read it early in the year (or was it last year)- 5 star read for me!

I am off to read your Destined for an Early Grave review. I just bought this online over the weekend. Hoping it comes in ASAP!

With "Triple Threat"by Jennifer Labrecque, didn't you feel something was missing? It was like this was part of a series and I jumped in the middle of it without background info.

To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite book. Read it for freshman English in high school and then re-read last year.

I haven't read the other books you listed. Looking forward to your reviews.

Teddyree - The Frost books are really good. I picked up The Secret only after reading your review on your blog :)

Jess - I hope you enjoy Destined for.. as much as i did

J Kaye - i know what you mean, like the first half of the book was missing or something. It was still a nice read tho'.

Thanks Shon, i loved To Kill a Mockingbird, i think i read it years ago too, but i couldn't remember most of it

Wow, good for you finishing all the books! I've wanted to read the Ian McEwan book but haven't gotten to it yet. Hope you enjoy it!

Mary, I've only read Amsterdam by Ian McEwan yet and that wasn't so good, so i'm wondering how this one will be
