The Amazing Race with the fast approaching deadline

Mom n Lil Sis are leaving on the 15th, so there's still a lotta places to show them and take them to. So this, is my list of things to do /places to go for the next 11 days.

Places to go to/ things we did:

• China Town (nice for touristy pics + buy souvenirs + good food)
• Zoo - They were killing me on this one. Every night it is "are we going to the Zoo tomorrow"
• Orchard Road
• Emerald Hill - Peanut bar is a good place to go, altho we just walked by this time
• Clark Quay
• Robertson Quay - to my favourite eM by the River. We also went to Red House for crab which was ok and not as good as my guy in Chinatown makes it
• Chijmes - This is a friday night sorta thing, so we went there wednesday
• The Esplanade - nice place to see even if you're not catching a play
• Merlion
• Ikea (to buy some more of em candles n stuff) - Went here on Tuesday and as I expected they now wanna buy houses for themselves so they can decorate it.
• Sentosa by cable car to see the Butterfly park, fish thing, dolphin show and the southernmost tip of continental asia.
• Night Safari - which i must add they completely loved
• Vivo City - the size of the place awed them the first time, but now they don't even look twice.
• Boat Quay
• St Theresa's Church
• Dhobi Ghaut, Plaza Singapura to watch Max Payne
• Jurong Bird Park (see here and here)
• Bugis - for some good ole shopping
  

We didn't do the Singapore Flyer mostly cause i was bored, and which i've now been told was a good move because it is mighty booooring

I did wanna take em to Holland Village, but again i was bored.

Food specials:

• MacDonald's - McSpicy chicken (Don't get in India, which is quite sad cause it is yummy)
• Old Chang Kee I took the curry puffs home on Tuesday. They were over in 20 mins so this one was a success
• Aroma -the sandwich place
• New Harbour bar for chicken wings and samosa - went last night 11/4. We had the tuesday special Madras Curry which is awesome with chicken wings..they also have the most awesome sauce along with the chicken wings.
• Dimsum - Because this was the first time they both tried it
• Chilli Crab @ Red House (was ok) and China Town (yummy)
• Mee goreng and other food at Golden Café (they wanted to eat there every night, so this place gets the thumbs up)

I'm guessing other people would have different ideas on touristy things to do in Singapore, but its always nice when you know the lil places that are out of the way and fall into the category of places the people visiting would like to see, eat at, watch etc.. Which is why a lotta other popular places have been removed from this list
