The Host - Stephenie Meyer

I don't know what it is about the Stephenie Meyer books but they force me to finish them in one sitting - which usually means I'm up all night and the next day till i finish
I liked the Host better than the Twilight Series. Her writing seems to have improved.
Somehow i wasn't surprised that the characters in this book gasped and chuckled just like in Twilight - this seems to be a signature in her books now. A bad one, but hey, whatever makes her happy.
The Host did have a bigger storyline that the Twilight series and although most of it was predictable (like the ending and knowing what Wanda would do in the end and how the others wouldn't let her go that easily) it was still a good read. Some parts of it were a surprise - Like Kyle in the end.
Favourite line:
"The humans never did figure love out. How much is physical, how much in the mind? How much accident and how much fate? Why did perfect matches crumble and impossible couples thrive? I don't know the answers any better than they did. Love simply is where it is."
There were more lines, but i stopped trying to remember after a while.

I just finished this and wrote my review. I cant believe you finished this through one sitting. I give you mad props for that. Even though I really liked the book I couldn't get through it that quickly. Glad you liked it (=
Thanks Mishel. I have to try and finish a book at one reading or i can't focus on anything else. So it took the whole night, but i did it at a strech.
