The Princess Bride by William Goldman

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

I had tears in my eyes reading this book.

This is the "good parts version" of "S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure."

The book about everything:
"Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Poison. True love. Hate. Revenge. Giants. Hunters. Bad men. Good men. Beautifulest ladies. Snakes. Spiders. Beasts of all natures and descriptions. Pain. Death. Brave men. Coward men. Strongest men. Chases. Escapes. Lies. Truths. Passion. Miracles."

There are just so many things going on in this book. Its hilarious and fascinating. And I'm seriously considering splitting my world up into people who have read the Princess Bride and the rest of the losers.
